Julian Godfrey
Julian has 34 years of experience and been considered one of the best motor engineers in rallycross and as a successful race driver who is proud to be a 6 times British Rallycross Championship winner.
Mechanic
Richard Carter
Richard has 40 years of experience in auto business, and is a former owner of a successful garage business. Has a passion for classic cars and restoring cars at home. Takes part in local events for classic cars.
Sales Manager
Scott Reed
Has worked with us for 21 years, including 14 years as Engineer, has a wealth of experience in engineering and strong skills for unique and historic part sourcing. Passionate about classic Ford cars. Successful race driver who takes part in national competitions for historic cars

"Over the last decade or more Julian Godfrey Engineering (JGE) have undertaken a number of projects for me from a straight forward engine refresh with new pistons & liners, recut valve seats and full engine balance all the way through to a complex conversion of an Alfa Romeo 3 litre 24 valve V6 to take it from front wheel drive to rear wheel drive. This not only included extensive machining but also a complete build up with all new parts including fitting a throttle body kit with management by a Pectel SQ6 ecu and subsequent dyno work with full engine mapping. In addition to this a bespoke adapter plate had to be fabricated to allow the V6 engine to connect to a Renault UN1 transaxle. All of the work JGE has undertaken for my various unusual projects has been with considerable enthusiasm and interest and always through to a successful conclusion notwithstanding the complexity of the challenges faced. It is always a pleasure to work with Julian, Ray & Scott."
